A student at The start of my first year
I got off the train and headed straight to the carriages. "Hey, yo! O'Malley!" I spin around at the sound of my name and laugh at my friend, Victor Snow.
"Bro! How was your holiday?" I ask as he walks towards me.
"Pretty good." He pulls me into a hug, his rustic burnt wood smell filled my nose. "Were you chopping wood before you got on the train?"
"Yeah," he smiled. "Also had to start the wood stove."
"I can tell," I chuckled. "We should probably get in the carriage." Victor nodded and we climbed into the cramped carriage. We rode in silence, which was quite deafening. Nether of us really talked until we walked into the castle.
"Hey, I'll catch you later." I spoke as we split ways, I was headed to Ravenclaw and he to Gryffindor. I sat around my friends in Ravenclaw as they all chatted aimlessly. I felt at home around these people, they were my family. My family was about to grow and I was excited about that. Everyone ceased talking when the first years scurried in behind Professor Longbottom. I clapped loudly every time one of the kids came to our blue and bronze filled table. I was filled with happiness at the fact the new year was starting. I just couldn't wait!
